I am working on Application Vulnerability Response (AVR) and noticed that the Request Exception UI Action is available on Vulnerability Items (VITs) but is not visible on Application Vulnerability Items (AVITs).
I verified that the UI Action is working as expected on VIT records and assumed similar functionality would be available on AVIT records. However, the button does not appear on the AVIT form.
Our current Vulnerability Response plugin version is 30.7.2.
In a previous version, we encountered an issue where it was not possible to select a questionnaire while requesting an exception. That issue has since been resolved, but the Request Exception UI Action is still not visible on AVIT records.
Could anyone help clarify the following?
- Is the Request Exception UI Action supported on AVITs out of the box?
- Are there any OOB conditions, restrictions, properties, or roles that control its visibility?
- Does AVIT require any additional configuration to enable exception requests?
- Has anyone successfully implemented or enabled this functionality on AVITs?
Any guidance, documentation references, or insights would be greatly appreciated.
