This is no question, this is a solution!!
(unfortunately, blogs and articles can only be created by a few, so I have to use the question section)
One of the biggest annoyances a ServiceNow admin has, is the way that ServiceNow wants you to update Store apps and plugins. More and more of the core functionality is delivered through apps, because it helps to update faster. But when an update comes out, you have to go through them one by one and update everything manually. Just check the posts here or on any other platform where devs are trying to help each other: you won't be the only one with dozens, if not hundreds of apps that are waiting for an update.
A new app has been published to the ServiceNow store: WhiteBrick's Store App Update Streamliner. This (FREE) app will enable you to manage the apps and their updates on all your instances from one single instance.
- Select one, multiple or all apps and the version you want to update them to
- Prevent PROD to have an newer version than DEV
- Let teams support and maintain their own apps
One instance to manage all
One click to update all
And did I mention that it is offered for free?
Download the app now: https://store.servicenow.com/store/app/e75ae2e41b72a2d0c43e65b2604bcbc3
or check out the website: https://whitebrick.eu/store-app-streamliner/

It's pretty stupid that someone with over 1700 helpful endorsements and 600 correct solutions on this platform can't post a blog ... even if it is a shameless plug for their own app 😀 😀 😀

Someone way smarter than me created the app. I am just a very enthusiastic user, since I was the one continuously updating all the apps 😀
But you are right: there is no shame here and it is our own app.

It's even worse that the process to get rights to post a blog doesn't process.
Send an email.... and never get a reply
