Unable to switch in between UI16 and Next Experience

Hi everyone, 

After doing the following I am now unable to switch back to the Next Experience and only have the option to switch between UI15 and UI16. 

I was previously on Next experience but wanted users to have the option to switch between UI16 and Next Exp. 

I have checked the following. 
 the system property glide.ui.polaris.on_off_user_pref_enabled to "true"
Set "glide.ui.polaris.experience" = true

Still unable to have the toggle option. 

Any ideas?

The Next Experience can only be enabled or disabled via View Properties. In UI16, you can’t control it through the regular preferences toggle — it must be done specifically through the view property.

Sometimes, it could also be a cache issue, so try clearing your cache and testing again.

If you moved from next experience to UI 16, so whenever you will launch PDI, it will show you screen like this:-

Click on Get started and you will next screen like:-

Click on "Turn On Next experience" and see you will Get this message-

Once you will log out and log in- You will be on Next experience UI.

Since you already confirmed the properties are in place, clear browser cache and from scripts - background execute gs.invalidateCache();

Logout from browser and login again and check if you can toggle the next experience. You can also try to login from Incognito or InPrivate window of your browser.
