Hello,
Where should I define exclude and preserve tables for cloning? Should I define them in the source instance, or in the target instance?
Best Regards,
Ozgur

Hi,
All clone settings should be made on the source instance (usually your PROD instance).
The settings (preservers and excludes) tells the target instance what should happen during the clone.

Hi @ÖzgürT ,
When setting up a clone operation, you should define both Exclude Tables and Preserve Data settings on the source instance, which is typically your production environment. These configurations determine how data is handled during the cloning process to the target instance (such as development or testing environments).
If my response helped, please mark it as the accepted solution ✅ and give a thumbs up👍.
Thanks,
Anand
