Assign the catalog task record automatically with the person who closes it in the 'Assigned to'

How do I achieve so that when a user closes a task record, that his/her name gets assigned automatically in the 'Assigned to' field?

why will the task be unassigned and get closed?

Somebody has to work on it to complete it

Yes, so say that someone is assigned, but then when its closed, that person who closed it gets his name in the Assigned to field.

How is the task being closed? Is user clicking the Close button? or some other way

It is when you choose State, Closed complete or Closed incomplete.
