Changes to dashboard built in the workspace are not moved when we promote the app via My company applications. Can someone please explain how to promote the changes?

When we move the dashboards from dev to QA as part of the application deployment using my company applications , the user was not able to see the dashboard. The solution for this is to share the dashboard to group/people manually again in QA resolves the issue
