Connect Chat on Yokohama

Hi,
My client is currently on the Washington release and is planning to upgrade to Yokohama soon. They are currently using the legacy connect chat and is planning to migrate to agent chat.
For now they would like to keep using connect chat for a few weeks until they are ready to move to agent chat. I have the following questions:
1. Can Connect Chat still be used as normal on Yokohama. I have read that it does not work on the new UI so by simply making the sys property glide.ui.polaris.experience false this should in theory continue to work as normal right?
2. Is there anything else I would need to do to ensure Connect Chat is working as usual on Yokohama?
