Hello,
I am using CSM Configurable Workspace and would like to change the Japanese display label of the "Assign to me" action.
Current label:
"自分にアサイン" (Assign to me)
Desired label:
"受付・対応開始"
The action is displayed in the Case form action bar.
I confirmed via browser developer tools that the rendered button has the following component name:
node0_78f4b594c3323100d6d210c422d3ae1a
The sys_id "78f4b594c3323100d6d210c422d3ae1a" corresponds to the following UI Action:
- Name: Assign to me
- Table: Case [sn_customerservice_case]
- Action name: AssignCaseToMe
- Application: Customer Service
I also found the related UX Form Action for "Assign to me".
However, changing the Japanese translation of the UX Form Action did not change the label displayed in CSM Configurable Workspace.
I also checked the following:
1. sys_translated_text
- Changing the Japanese translation for the related UX Form Action did not affect the Workspace label.
2. sys_translated
- Changing the translation did not affect the Workspace label.
3. sys_ui_message
- I could not find a message whose Japanese translation exactly matches "自分にアサイン".
4. Declarative Actions > Form Actions
- I could not find an "Assign to me" action for the Case [sn_customerservice_case] table.
The OOTB UI Action itself currently displays "自分にアサイン" when the instance language is Japanese.
I would prefer not to modify the OOTB UI Action directly.
Could you please advise where the translated label "自分にアサイン" for this action is defined in CSM Configurable Workspace?
Also, what is the recommended way to override only the Japanese label without modifying the OOTB UI Action?
Thank you.

ahoy @fj0371ii,
what you can try is to find the table and field on the Field Label [sys_documentation] table:
https://yourDomain.service-now.com/sys_documentation_list.do
Example of "Title" field on User [sys_user] table:
In native UI (not Workspace), you can click right mouse button on that field and go Configure Label:
Once it is done, it should be reflected in Workspace as well, perhaps clearing your browsing history and cache might be required or validated from incognito session.

once you enable i18 debugging you will get to know where the translation is stored for that and you can then update record there
