Platform Analytics - Dashboard editor no longer shows configuration fields for elements

I created a new PA Dashboard and added some a few data visualizations and headers on it.  This was done in global.  I closed the update set (for deployment reasons) and created a new update set, still within global.

But now, when I go to the dashboard editor and click "Edit", all the configurations for any and all elements on the dashboard are empty, as you can see from one example in the screenshot below.  If I select one of the data visualizations, the only configuration available is Visualization type, and that's it.

Here is what I've tried so far:
1. Clearing cache:  cache.do
2. Clearing the browser cache
3. Closing and reopening the dashboard designer
4. Verifying that I am still shown as the dashboard owner (I am)

What would cause this?  Am I missing something obvious?

I should have added that I can still edit the individual data visualizations within the Visualization editor (so, outside the Dashboard editor). 

Also, it will let me move and resize elements within the editor.  I tried saving a simple change and seeing if that would "unlock" the right panel configurations, but it did not.

Some additional info - I found that it is working correctly in Edge browser, which I normally do not use.  Now I suspect it may be in my Chrome browser settings or cache.....  Will report if I find the issue!
