Trying to implement propose change option in the change form.
Idea is to include the check box stating CMDB Update Required.
Once the check box is marked, there is task for the CMDB team to validate if the proposed changes are valid.
If the task is closed successfully and implementation task is closed successfully, proposed values shall apply automatically to the CI records.
Now, the real issue - Change requester, not part of the affected CI's support group, is unable to propose the changes.
We have some ACL or script built where the users belonging to the support group can edit certain fields except name and status. Is there a way handle this situation without touching the ACL?
