Hello,
I have a requirement to add the refresh button in the dashboard list in SOW.
Currently when you open SOW -> Overview-> Open one list from a report -> this is how it looks:
My requirement is to add the refresh button where the yellow dot is, just as it is inside a regular list on SOW:
e.g. change request list
Is there any way to do it?
Thank you,
Elena

Hi @Elena Spıru
OOTB landing page is not editable. You can create a variant and add option to refresh the list
Go to the UI Builder -> Service Operations Workspace -> Home -> Service Desk Landing Page PAR SNC -> Duplicate variant
Go to widget data list and uncheck hide options to refresh

@Elena Spıru Is this OOB SOW homepage, the current version of SOW shows platform analytics dashboard on homepage and it has refresh icon OOB.
Go to UI builder and open SOW workspace check the landing page, is your landing page using platform analytics dashboard or directly reports.
I believe dashboard will have refresh icon OOB without any config.

Hello @Shruti
I did the provided steps and this is how it looks in the builder:
but when I open SOW and go to the dashboard, no refresh button:
Also, does this refresh only the reports or also the list that is opened? I think it is only for the reports inside the dashboard (correct me if I'm wrong).
Thanks for the idea, if anything else comes to mind pls share.

Hi,
The list normally is generated via the "Data List" Widget. If you open the page in UI builder, click on the data widget and navigate the configuration of the data widget list you will find that the option to hide the refresh icon is checked. Eg:
Uncheck it and the refresh icon should be visible. This refresh icon will only refresh the list. This means if new record(s) is/are added and satisfies the filter query, it will be shown in the list.
Please clone the original page before making changes. Then instead of deactivating the original page, lower the order of the new one. This will ensure you keep getting the updates on the original page from Service Now.
