In my Personal Developer Instance (PDI), how can I grant a user the security_admin role if my own user account does not already have the security_admin role?

I want to do this without contacting or using another user account that already has the security_admin role.

Ahoy @RupeshK38781664,

Only one sec_admin can grant that role to others.

To get started, go to the ServiceNow Developer portal, click Start Building, this opens your instance logged in as an admin with the security_admin role already assigned.

From there, elevate the role as per following screenshot:

And after that you will be able to assign it to other users. In PDI it's not that dangerous but assign it wisely in a real instance :))

EDIT: formatting the text better

i dont want to use this feature also.
is there any other way to assign security_admin role?

What feature do you mean? without being security_admin yourself, there is NO chance to assign it others...

The above method is easy, why don't you use it? Once you do so, you can assign to other users and then you can use these user as per your need.

Let me know how that goes

ahoy @RupeshK38781664, does this answer your question? You wanted to know how to assign security_admin, I showed you. Happy to clarify further but if it covers what you needed, marking it as the solution would be appreciated.
