In my Personal Developer Instance (PDI), how can I grant a user the security_admin role if my own user account does not already have the security_admin role?
I want to do this without contacting or using another user account that already has the security_admin role.

To grant the role to another user using the fresh OOB account:
- Log in to your instance using the new OOB admin credentials.
- Click your user name in the banner's header (e.g., System Administrator) and select Elevate Roles.
- Check the box for security_admin and click OK.
- Navigate to User Administration > Users, open the target user's record, add the security_admin role to their Roles related list, and save.
If you are not admin to your PDI ,
Click https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/manage-instance
Under Action: Change User Role to Admin
Then follow Above process.
