ServiceNow Agent App Bulk Inventory

Using HAM Pro, the ServiceNow Mobile Agent App can perform device inventories. While the app works to scan/discover one device at a time OOB, ServiceNow documentation indicates that a bulk inventory feature has to be enabled to be utilized.  Where can a developer identify if past implementation of the ServiceNow Mobile Agent App has this feature enabled or not? Verification is needed prior to training staff to use the ServiceNow Mobile Agent App. Thank you.

In ServiceNow, you can check which features were available in past versions by reviewing the official release documentation. Each ServiceNow release comes with detailed release notes that describe the new features, enhancements, and deprecated functionality introduced in that version. By comparing release documentation across different versions, you can easily identify which features were introduced, updated, or removed over time.

For example:

  • If you want to know whether a feature existed in the Tokyo release but not in Utah, you can check both release notes side by side.

  • ServiceNow also provides a "Product Documentation" portal where all release information is archived, making it easier to track changes and see what was available in previous releases.
