Software installation records ae disappearing in sometime

Hi,

Software Installation table is getting populated by SG-SCCM in our project and for some reason after sometime, the count gets very low. From 221484 n records to 5K records..The records get deleted/disappers. Any specific reason why this happens? We also have SG-Intune in the environment.

Since i'm new to SG-SCCM, any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

As part of the software import process, the 'Remove Software' import sets (2 of them) run AFTER the fetch software process. These jobs will find the delta between the data most recently fetched and the data still in ServiceNow and delete software records that weren't imported.

 

You may have an issue whereby your software import scheduled jobs aren't bringing in data, resulting in subsequent jobs to purge all records
