Update fields on hardware form when assigned to changes

Hello! it's so critical for me this need

I want to know which  OOB (Business rules or client script) is responsible for the auto populate of hardware fields please. i customised some filds on [alm_hardware] and i can't auto populate them. Thank you

There is no single OOB script on alm_hardware. Auto-population mainly comes from:

  • OOB Client Scripts on alm_asset, and

  • Asset ↔ CI sync logic (AssetAndCISynchronizer).

Custom fields won’t auto-populate unless you extend the sync or add your own Business Rule/Flow.

Try and Check: Client Scripts and Business Rules on alm_asset, not alm_hardware.

where is your code for custom fields?

the script you shared has OOTB fields only
