Hello Dear All,

I'm implementing the virtual chat bot for my client for all catalog item. But I'm facing an issue with reference qualifier, variable set and Macro. When i'm removing the ref qualifier condition, deleting the macro and variable set then its working fine in chat bot.

Can anyone pls advice if there is any workaround?

Thanks,

Mehak

Hi there,

Whats the exact issue? The image you are sharing does not match what you are describing (or only partly). So what is the actual issue? And what are you using to to request catalog items in Virtual Agent? What can you share?

Hi Mark, Thanks for the response.

Step 1) I'm designing a Virtual agent chat bot with x catalog item

Step 2) In that catalog item I have reference qualifier in one variable

Step 3) When I'm changing the Reference qulafier condition from Advance to simple then its working fine.

Step 4) I'm getting below error "Can't find a valid record"

Step 5) Similar errors I'm also getting in variable set and Macro variables in chat bot.

So I'm removing one by one variables and doing testing in chat bot, I'm able to submit the request through chat bot but when I'm removing the reference qualifier , variable set and macro condition.Hope its clear to you. I know there are some limitation in chat bot but is there any workaround for this?

Thanks,

Mehak

Ah clear. The out-of-the-box topic block you are using just doesn't support this. You could create your own, which is a ton of work, though then you can decide yourself how to handle unsupported variables etc.. Or perhaps you can rework your Catalog Items.
