After installing the latest Teams Virtual Agent plugin, we've noticed that a Search Text field is now displayed above Select Option choice lists in the Teams interface.
This wasn't previously visible — it seems to have been introduced by the recent plugin update.
Typing into the field doesn't correctly match or filter the dropdown options, and we found that the issue only occurs in Microsoft Teams. The same Virtual Agent topic works as expected in the web client, where the dropdown behaves normally.
I found a workaround — increasing the sn_va_teams.picker_button_limit property value allowed the dropdown to show more options and made the search work again. But this feels more like a hack than a fix.
Does anyone know:
How to disable the Search Text field by default in MS Teams VA dropdowns?
Whether the appearance of this field is intended behavior or the result of a recent plugin change?
If there’s a cleaner way to revert this UI change without bumping the picker_button_limit?
