How to trigger a email from micro soft teams to ServiceNow.

Hi All,
We have integrated Microsoft Teams with the ServiceNow Virtual Agent chatbot and are working on the approval process. We are using the "Process Approval" topic and have assigned the role of "end user" to this topic. When this topic is selected, it fetches all pending approval records. If the end user approves or rejects any of these pending records, we need to send an email from Microsoft Teams to ServiceNow for the particular end user. To achieve this, I added an email action after the approval message. Attaching the snip for your reference. However, the email is not triggering. Can anyone please help with this?.
