Have you migrated from TrueSight Orchestration (TSO)?

Hi all,

I'm hoping to find someone who previously used TrueSight Orchestration (TSO) from BMC and moved their integrations and workflows to the ServiceNow Platform.  I've got a couple of quick questions where your help would be hugely appreciated.   If you've used TSO in the past, can you please let me know?

Thanks,

Eric

Hi @Eric L,

When moving from TrueSight Orchestration (TSO) to ServiceNow, there are a few key things worth evaluating:

  • Are you rebuilding automation logic or replicating it?
TSO often uses agent-based orchestration and custom scripts. In ServiceNow, Flow Designer or Integration Hub replaces much of that —but the logic often needs to be restructured.
  • How complex are your cross-system dependencies?
TSO integrations might span multiple systems (ticketing, monitoring, user provisioning). ServiceNow may not have spokes for all of them out of the box, and recreating data mappings can be time-consuming.
  • Do you need to maintain history or parallel workflows during the transition?
Many teams need dual-run environments or historical traceability for audits and business continuity—often overlooked in lift-and-shift efforts.
  • How are you securing and authenticating integrations post-migration?
TSO and ServiceNow follow different authentication patterns. Moving securely while minimizing manual reconfiguration is often a blocker.

If you are looking to avoid reinventing each workflow or writing custom scripts, you might want to explore OpsHub Migration Manager, an Atlassian and ServiceNow partner for zero downtime, non-disruption and high data fidelity transition with a no code integration set up

Let me know what use cases you’re tackling—happy to share more specific insights!
