I'm trying to setup a workflow with flow designer to create an issue in jira after the creation of an incident.
In flow designer, the create issue action is available, but after selecting it, i get no field to select the connection&credential alias for the jira instance.
Has there been a change in the way to set this up ?

Seems that this problem is related to the version of the Jira spoke.
If there's only one connection defined, it will be defaulted as connection. If there are multiple connections, you need to create different connections in the alias.
When creating a token, documentation is not that clear. Simply first create a token with random pw, then edit the token and generate a token trough the system.

Seems that the Alias field for the connection dissappeared in the Tokyo release. It is still there in the San Diego release.

Hi Frank
Here's what you can do:
Double-check that you have properly configured the connection and credentials for your Jira instance. Make sure the alias is correctly set up, as this is essential for flow designer to recognize the connection.
If you're unable to find the field to select the connection and credential alias, there might have been an update or change in the flow designer interface. I recommend checking the official documentation or contacting the support team of the platform for assistance on the updated setup process.
As an alternative option, you may consider using Exalate. Exalate is a popular integration tool that allows you to connect different issue trackers, like Jira, and synchronize the data between them. It provides a flexible and reliable way to set up workflows and automate processes between different systems.
Its my understanding that Exalate would be perfect for a use-case like this.It is an integration solution that works super fast in my opinion. I have been using it for quite a while and it instantly jumped in my thoughts reading this post. Hope to have helped you and have a great day!

Hi Frank,
Which family version are you currently on? San Diego / Tokyo / Utah?
What version of the Jira Spoke do you have installed?
You can find a default connection & credential alias for Jira Spoke in the "Connections & Credentials" menu. You can even go to the "Connections Dashboard" [https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-integrate-applications/page/administer/integrationhub/concep...and search for Jira and setup the default alias.
Only if you need to manage Jira instances, only then you need to configure child aliases [https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-integrate-applications/page/administer/integrationhub/concep....
The detailed production documentation on how to setup the Jira Spoke is documented here via two methods: basic auth and OAuth [https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-integrate-applications/page/administer/integrationhub-store-...
Setting up bidirectional webhook is listed here [https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-integrate-applications/page/administer/integrationhub-store-...]
