WSD Visitor Management – Multi-Day Registration Creates Multiple Records

Hi everyone,

I’ve run into a limitation with Visitor Management and wanted to check if others have dealt with this or found a good solution.

Problem:
When creating a visitor registration (for either external or internal users) across multiple days, the system automatically generates separate records, one for each day.

Impact:
Because each record has a different date, our badge printing process treats them as separate visits. This means we need to issue a new visitor badge for each day, even though it’s the same person attending across multiple days.

What we’d like to achieve:
Ideally, we want a single visitor badge that remains valid across multiple days for the same visit, rather than generating a new badge per day.

Question:

  • Has anyone else encountered this behavior in Visitor Management?

  • Is there a recommended approach or configuration to support multi-day visits under a single record or badge?

Any insights, best practices, or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.

Refer :  Visitor Registration - Multi Day option

 You need to change the logic in catalog client script Evaluate Arrival and calculate departure in Visitor record producer.
