About this task
With Investigative Case Management, Investigators can create and manage a centralized firearms master index to unify firearm records across several investigations. This master index stores critical identifiers, traits, and historical data in a dedicated Firearms tab, and allows firearms to be linked to related entities (persons, events, cases, evidence, organizations, locations, property) within the case. Users are able to add new firearms, view existing ones in a related tab or list, and edit them, and view audit logs for all firearm record changes and relationship updates.
