Hello ServiceNow Community,
My Personal Developer Instance (PDI), dev295422, has been showing Offline for several days.
The portal displays the message that my PDI is temporarily unavailable due to infrastructure maintenance.
I have tried refreshing the instance multiple times, but it remains Offline. Opening the instance URL also gives me a 502 Bad Gateway error.
I have an important learning project called Hostel360 - Smart Hostel Asset Management System in this instance. I created custom tables, Flow Designer automations, and issue classification logic, and I was preparing to build the dashboard.
Could someone please advise me on how to recover access to this PDI and whether my existing project data can be preserved?
I have not released or reset the instance.
Thank you for your help.

Hi @23a3sa42d2 ,
Nowadays, PDI-related issues is quite common among ServiceNow Community users.
I requested a new PDI 10 days ago and am currently on the waiting list, so there is no confirmed ETA for when the instance will be available.
You have to raise request for new PDI.
Please be patient and keep checking your email for a notification once your new instance is ready.
Please mark helpful & correct answer if its worthy for you.

I'm waiting for more than 20 days now. So annoying specially when I want to test things with the new courses I'm taking.

If it's been 20 days -- or even 10 -- you just have to accept you're not going to get your instance back.
Sorry, but it's time to move on. Release your PDI and take a new one.
It sucks, and it's unacceptable on ServiceNow's part that its PDIs are so unreliable. But it is what it is.

Thank you for your response.
I understand that PDI recovery may not always be possible. However, my instance contains an important learning project, Hostel360 – Smart Hostel Asset Management System, including custom tables and Flow Designer automations.
Before releasing the instance, could you please confirm whether there is any official recovery option or whether ServiceNow Developer Support can check its status? I would like to avoid losing my project data if recovery is still possible.
Thank you.
