Employee Center Taxonomy and Virtual Agent

Good day to everyone and happy 2024! I am hoping for some help on this.
I have a work requirement to emulate the taxonomy we are setting up in EC, within Virtual Agent. So basically, the user can choose from the various taxonomy levels to deliver information (forms KBs etc.) in a manner consistent with the EC logic.
For example, they can choose Service of Technology, first level would be Software Related, next level would be document managing. This would filter the KB results (we are mimicking the same taxonomy) or create a UR with the same taxonomy they would get from the EC. All without manually updating the VA choices, so it can pull directly from the taxonomy table to populate the choices and store them in a variable that can be used further in the chat.
Can this be done? Anyone have success or direction they care to share? We really want to ensure we keep with our data quality model of a single source of data (the taxonomy tables in this case).
