How to integrate Sidebar with Slack?

Need to know how  the integration will be done between Sidebar and Slack.

  1. Slack Spoke is not needed for this set up since it is done through the Conversational Interface
  2. In Slack's OAuth page, we have internally tested that oAuth Admin scope is not needed

@Dexter Chan I asked this because HI Support told us the exact opposite.

 

Is it possible to have a PDF that explains the step-by-step implementation like the one you did for Sidebar on mobile app?

 

Can you also share some screenshots to show how the experience will be on Slack side?

When you invite users in Servicenow, what will exactly happens on Slack side? Is a channel being created? A Direct message? A group message?

 

Is the purpose of this integration to allow interaction with Slack users who do not have a ServiceNow user profile?

Or is it also intended to work with users who have a corresponding ServiceNow profile?
