How to get access and use the Servicenow AI Control Tower API

Hello everyone,

I was going through the ServiceNow AI Control Tower Scenario-Based Questions for 2025 on ServiceNow Spectaculars In question 49, they mention the AI Control Tower API. Could anyone share how to gain access to these APIs and point me to any documentation available for using them?

Hi @prasanna16,

 

You wont be able to access them in PDI as ServiceNow has restricted use of AI in PDI due to costs associated with it.

Thanks for the reply

As a ServiceNow Build Partner, we’ve been provided with a Personal Developer Instance (PDI). However, when I search for the Generative AI Controller plugin in the Application Store within this instance, it’s not appearing.

I think you are referring to your organization's demo instance in which it can be installed. In that case, you will need to refer these docs for configuring it:

You will need to add Now Assist plugins to get Generative AI Controller as mentioned in the above mentioned docs.

I have a question regarding a specific use case we are exploring:

Is it possible to use an API in the AI Control Tower to populate an AI system after installing the Generative AI Controller plugin and completing all the necessary configuration setup for the AI Control Tower?
