How to implement email integration for IMAP with AWS SES?

Hi Team,

 

I have implemented SMTP email account and connected ServiceNow and AWS SES so from DEV I am able to receive the emails.

this we did because outlook was having limit of 10k emails from single email id.

now I want to test it but for dev I will not able to test this cause from dev ServiceNow will not receive the emails hence for dev also I am trying to configure IMAP account same as SMTP but its not working.

Is there any need to configure IMAP because there is no limit of receiving but still we wanted to check it.

any thoughts on this?

will IMPA work same even though it is not connected with AWS SES and SMTP is connected.
