RedHat Satellite Self-sign certificate issue on ServiceNow

Before applying the Self-Sign certificate, was getting data from the API but after applying the self-sign certificate on the Mid-server, getting error message with response Code '0' stating :

"The Request Failed: Request not sent to <base_url> : org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpException: Session contains no certificates - untrusted".

Has anyone faced this issue ?? What could be the resolution for this
