Hello All,
Greetings.
I am trying to configure REST API Access Policy, such that only specific user-account should be authorized to access resources of a REST API (table-level or scripted)- GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE.
However, when I am trying to create an access policy, "Inbound Authentication Profile" is unable to be mapped or created -> "Security Constraints prevents writing to this field".
I elevated my privilege as security_admin, but still unable to map the authentication profile.
I have followed the steps mentioned in the following developer-post:
Inbound REST API Keys - ServiceNow Community
Request you all to provide your feedback here.
Appreciate your response.
Best Regards,
Puru

Hi,
You need to save this record first and then you can add the profiles.
Please make this user has the admin role and logout and login if you recently assigned it.
Thanks
Jake
