Hi everyone,
I'm working in a Personal Developer Instance (PDI) and would like to create a custom workspace.
Is it possible to create and use a custom workspace without publishing an application first? My understanding is that workspaces are typically associated with an application, but I'm not sure whether publishing the app is a prerequisite in a PDI environment.
Has anyone successfully created a custom workspace without publishing the application, or is application publication required before the workspace can be configured and accessed?
I'm using a recent ServiceNow release and would appreciate any guidance or best practices.
Thank you.

Yes, you can create the custom workspace, but you cannot publish the app in PDI.

Hi, yes you can create a custom Configurable Workspace in the Global scope or in an existing custom scope.
You can follow these steps:
1. Open UI Builder
2. Create a new Experience
3. For your App Shell UI select "Workspace App Shell"
4. Now you can set up all your specific pages
