Creating Action with Script Step

I am creating an Action using the script step. After typing in my script the words "function" and "Var" are red, what does this mean? When testing my Action, It all comes back completed.

Hi,

I believe, you are using V as capital i.e, Var

or May your syntax is wrong in the function definition. i.e., function name()
