I tired a new App in my PDI and i did not get any error. Seems the same name already exits. You can logout and login.

Did you check the [sys_app] table to see if that scope already exists? If it does, then it's a genuine error. If it does not, then you may want to try repairing the plugin.
If it still has issues, then I would consider releasing the PDI and get a new one.

The scope does not exist. I tried with different names. By repairing you mean to repair the "App engine studio"?

Repair the plugin. Go to plugins. Search for App engine studio
You will option Repair, Do the same or if you have option to Update please do that first.

I have tried updating and repairing. It is still the same. I am using the instance from the NowLearning course. Will terminating it allow me to open a fresh instance?
