Hello,
There is one article which is created with 'how to' template. Later On, that template is removed from that knowledge Base. I want to retire the article but it is not allowing me. It is throwing ' Selected article is not configured for this knowledge base ' error. How can I retire the article? Please suggest.
Thanks,
Kavya.

hey @KavyasriP460146
Re-associate the article with a valid template then retire it
Go to the Knowledge Article
Open the affected article record
Change the Template
Set Template to any template that is currently enabled for that Knowledge Base
If no template exists create a temporary basic template and associate it
Save the Article
Retire the Article
Click Retire or change Workflow State to Retired
Once the article is mapped to a valid template the error disappears.
or
Force retire by updating the workflow state
If you have admin access
Open the article
Switch to Form View
Manually set
Workflow state is Retired
Save
