MAke variables read only on a ticket (scoped app)

Hi.
I am trying to make variable editor read only after the ticket is registered through the portal.
It is a scoped app and a custom table called 'Issues'.
This solution doesn't work:
I searched google and didn't find any solution. You are my last resort 🙂

@Community Alums Ideally the solution suggested on the article should work. Did you uncheck the Isolate script checkbox while applying the solution suggested by the article?

Ideally it would however as you might have noticed it speaks about some previous releases which raises my concern. And yes, I did make it false. Thanks for checking.

Hi Ankur, as mentioned it is a custom table. Additionally I can tell it is extending a task table.
