I have a requirement to give and remove access to OneDrive folders when a user gains or loses a role in ServiceNow.
On OneDrive, there’s a folder for each record from a specific custom table.
When the user gains the role, we need to verify if the user is on a specific field from the record. If he is, then he should have access to the folder on OneDrive.
In the long term, it seems to me like this could cause some performance issues since every time a user gains a role, I would need to verify thousands of records to validate which folder the user should or should not have access to.
Is there any best practices documented to manage third party systems permissions from ServiceNow, especially in a scenario like this?
Is this a best practice at all?
