Not able to create applications using App Engine Studio, (tried to create app from scratch) getting following error:
"Template Execution Failure The template encountered an error when running. Contact your administrator if the issue persists."
Also when trying to create app using existing template getting below error:
Alert level: critical.

Hi There,
I was having the same problem earlier today.
To get rid of the error message, go to you developer home page and click on your logo on the right hand side to open your (My Instance) menu.
From the instance action dropdown menu, click Reset and Wipe Instance.

Ensure all variables used in the template are defined and have appropriate default values if necessary. also Add logging within the template script to capture more details on where it is failing.
If the issue persists after trying the above steps, contact ServiceNow Support for assistance. Provide them with the error messages and any relevant logs for further diagnosis.
