Filtering to Active = True, sorting by Priority such that 1 - Critical is at the top, and editing a group of incidents such that the State value is changed? I would almost bet that one of those State changes included an incident that was already set to the new state. Have you tried toggling the state of all of those to a completely different state?

Hi @PrernaS45321990 ,
A few things that commonly cause this task to fail validation even when the steps look correct:
- Make sure you are impersonating the exact user the lab tells you to use before starting.
- After building the filter, always click **Run** so it actually applies.
- Sort so the highest priority records are at the top.
- Use the **List Editor** (not the form) to update the State on a group of the top priority records at once, then save with the green check. If any of those rows were already in the target state, change them to something else first, save, then change them back — a field that doesn’t actually change often doesn’t register.
- Remove the columns the instructions ask you to remove via Personalize List.
- Only change the field(s) the task specifically asks for on the individual record it calls out — don’t update extra fields.
If it still fails after that, double-check that every required step was done in order and that the list editor updates actually saved. Hope this helps!
Thanks

1. Validate Incident Details
Validate the following details for each incident in the List View:
- Incident Number
- Category
- Priority
- All relevant columns displayed in the List View
Refer to the following videos for guidance:
2. Update Incident State
Ensure that you perform this task by impersonating the Platform User.
- Select the State column for all 1 - Critical incidents.
- Use the List Editor to change the State to In Progress.
- Select the green check mark to save the changes.
- A total of 10 rows should be updated.
