UI policy is not working on a new filed

Hello Everyone,

 

I had created a new filed in task table and created a UI policy to make that field read-only, but I see it's not working.

 

Do you know if I need to check any other conditions?

I did that,its working, but I want to make that filed read only through UI policy.

Hi @Akhila P,
Please verify if there is any other client script or UI policy for the same field if not please verify the record you are testing should have the exact same condition as mentioned in the UI Policy.

Hi @Akhila P ,

 

Please check if there are other Ui policies which are running on the same field or similar conditions like yours. 

If yes then update the order of your UI policy to a higher number than that of the existing UI policy which has similar conditions like yours. 

Then your UI policy will execute last & will work as expected.
