I have a question :
My org is at a very prelimnary usage of ServiceNow where in only 1 business unit is using ITSM and ITOM.
We are expanding our scope to have more business unit use CMDB.
I wanted to know how can we differentiate the new discovered CIs entering into servienow CMDB from the existing Ci's in the CMDB as these existing CI are part of currently using ServiceNow Business Unit.
The Existing business unit has its own mid servers
The New business unit will have its own mid servers to populate CMDB.
is there a way where we can create a report that new CI created through a particular mid server ?
or should we use tagging or add a new attributes to classess ?
End goal is to do reporting where in each business unit can see there assets getting populated in CMDB
