Guidelines for decommissioning features in the ServiceNow platform

Hi All,

 

I have a requirement to decommission several features in ServiceNow, but currently, we lack standardized guidelines or steps to follow for this process. I am seeking recommendations from the community for any general guidelines and steps that can be documented and shared with teams. This documentation would serve as a reference for future requirements involving feature decommissioning.

May I know what feature you are planning to decommission. bcz when you say feature, look like you are talking OOTB Platform feature or features created by you as custom?
