Issues with user name

Hi Architects,
Need a small help. We have LDAP listener configuration with our instance. When importing users from active directory for some users it shows below special characters. We have checked in all other systems from where this data is flowing, its all good and also we have noticed this happens for 1 or 2 usernames. I can confirm there are no special character in their names?
If anyone has any clue , what could be wrong here?

Not sure, but it may be some characters in specific way or not a English letter but other language letter but look like English. Sorry not able to write properly.

We have a similar issue. There are symbols issue in user names for users with special characters in DEV after upgrade to Xanadu.
This is what I received as a reply from ServiceNow Support:
Investigation Summary: ​
I have reviewed this case, and can confirm this has been previously reported under a known problem PRB1867925.
I can indeed confirm this problem, PRB1867925, has been reported to begin occurring in the Xanadu Patch 7 release. This problem is currently under investigation by our development team.
As of now, there is no available workaround, however if this does change, I will keep you posted.

Were you able to find a resolution to this issue? Our Production instance upgraded to Xanadu back on 4/19 and we started seeing this exact same issue. Users are displaying in Okta / AD with an accent or tilde but when it comes into our SN instance, it looks like this:
I wasn't sure if this was a browser issue but after confirming that Okta / AD has the accent correctly displaying, I figured it was some sort of setting I needed to turn on or off or something of that nature. I could not locate the PRB article you mentioned. Any info you might have would be oh so greatly appreciated.
