Have a requirement to for our business logic to implement a catalog item and upon creation of SCTASK in parallel need to create a Project and project Tasks (Need project Tasks because business need the leverage to create tasks in fly and assign it to different groups for implementation).
Need to add some fields on project task for triggering different other catalog items as well.
IN this context can we use Scoped APP? Is there any possibility to use Scoped APP? If so, where should we create a custom table?
I tried to create a custom table / Scoped APP extended from project task so that can create the extra fields needed to trigger Catalog item on that custom table. Created related list same as project tasks on project table but cannot find a way to apply templates to create tasks on fly on custom project task table.
So I thought may be go with Global scope and use the OOB functionality which we already have with project task.
