I would like to know if there is a way to have the ServiceNow attachment uploaded to an S3 bucket or any external storage without breaking the relationship with the record. I mean when any user opens a record and if there is an attachment associated with the record user should see that on the form and if needed they can view it.
The attachment table is growing exponentially in our environment and consuming all the database space. We can not get rid of the attachment due to legal requirements. So trying to explore what other options we have.
