Servicenow integration with external system over event driven approach

Hello, 

I want to do integration between servicenow and our ESB (Azure service bus)
The use case that I have is for automation, I want for a specific catalog item once approuved to trigger an event that will be send to our ESB and be processed

Is it a commun pattern applied in Servicenow ? Do we have a spoke for integration with Azure service bus ?
