What courses / resources are recommended for Presales Architects

What courses and/or resources are recommended for Presales Architects? I'm not looking for technical / configuration courses here, just those that would help me map customer requirements to ServiceNow modules/functions as well as sell ServiceNow functionality to new customers.

Steve,

I will start at this link https://www.servicenow.com/services/training-and-certification.html

if you scroll down on certification page there is a section called Find Course , based on your requirement you can find suitable training.

My understanding is what ever role you are in, you need to get hands on  servicenow administration. which is not really technical though.

Servicenow trainings are very well layed out and easy to go through training online without going through third party training institutes.

hope this helps.

Hi Steve,

ServiceNow has an excellent collection of very nice courses in their Pre-sale Learning Path. As a technical Solution Architect I enjoy them a lot, as they focus on features benefits, and not on the technical aspects. This is not the case with the Implementation courses from their Deliver Training Path. Following both learning paths allow me to understand the benefit of the features that I will implement

Sadly those pre-sales courses are currently only available to registered ServiceNow Partners. Is your company an official ServiceNow Partner?

If this is the case, I would advise you to go the Partner Portal's PRESALES LEARNING PATH page and register for the free solution specific accreditations.

The courses are free. After completion, a quiz is required to test your knowledge and obtain an official Pre-Sale's Accreditations.
The courses contain text files, video recordings, interactive demo, FAQ, use-cases, PPT decks, check-lists…  Huge amount of useful resources!

If you are not a registered ServiceNow Partner, the only remaining resource are the ServiceNow Fundamental courses. Most ServiceNow domains have a Fundamental course, and an Implementation course. The last one is mandatory to register for the relevant Certified Implementation Specialist exam).

Each Fundamental course is a two days training, often in an online virtual classroom. In my opinion they are targeted to manager, admins, BA, PM or fulfillers who want to understand what is the purpose of the solution. You have to pay for those courses, as they are led by live instructors.

At the end you receive a DRM protected ebook that include all the content of the course.

Honestly… for your specific purpose, I would say that the free Pre-Sale learning paths will probably be more relevant for you.

I couldn't have said this better myself, and I lead ServiceNow's pre-sales team aligned to our partners. Please feel free to message me directly Steve if you need further information!

I'm an experienced pre-sales architect that's currently looking for a new contract/role, so I don't have a company that is a Service Partner (my previous position was with a big Service Provider that was a Gold Service Partner though). I am looking to get some formal qualifications in the presales area - just exactly like those that have been mentioned - to back up my practical experience (and help get that elusive next position).

Is there any way I can get access to those courses?

Thanks

Steve
