Her story shows how curiosity and dedication can transform careers and spark meaningful change. The opportunities in the ServiceNow ecosystem are endless—start your career journey now.
How curiosity and certification launched a career in tech
In college, Shreya thrived on solving meaningful problems, building a strong foundation in software development. So, when she discovered ServiceNow, she drawn to its vast potential, Shreya took the first step in her ServiceNow journey by earning the Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification, an achievement that opened the door to a series of certifications and new skills. After obtaining her CSA, she went on to become a Certified Application Developer (CAD), and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), which broadened her knowledge of ServiceNow’s capabilities. For Shreya, every certification and challenge represented an opportunity to grow and make an impact.
Building community through creativity and shared learning
Driven to give back, Shreya began organizing ServiceNow Developer meetups, fostering spaces where developers could learn, connect, and grow.
Her approach to teaching is as creative as it is impactful—like designing games where participants link movie scenes to ServiceNow features, making complex concepts engaging and fun. “Learning is about give and take,” Shreya says, embracing it as a shared exchange that uplifts individuals and the entire community.
Shreya’s advice to newcomers is simple yet heartfelt: "If you have a question, there is an answer out there—you are not alone in your journey." Her story is proof that ServiceNow welcomes everyone, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned professional.
Charting a path toward leadership and great impact
As Shreya looks toward the future, her dedication is to both personal growth and community impact. Her next goal is to earn the Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification, taking her technical expertise to new heights. But beyond that, she envisions herself as a solution architect or technical product owner, roles that would allow her to drive a team, fashion product visions, and see a project through from start to finish.
Shreya’s journey shows that with dedication and a passion for learning, you can transform not only your career but also the lives of those around you. Inspired by Shreya's story? Discover how you can shape your career journey with ServiceNow today!
