Hello all,
I want to include "Add to Update set" option in my official service-now Instance, for every record to manually add them to the current update set.
I have seen this link
Add to Update Set Utility Documentation and Custom... - ServiceNow Community
But not understanding how to configure it.
Can someone please guide me how to achieve this?
Regards,
Lucky

@Lucky1 ,
Here is the attached update set.
Retrieve the update set into your instance and commit it.
Cheers!
Let me know if it worked.

Hi,
Can you share some screenshot of what you're referring to?
I am not sure what related record.

Hi,
You remember? You have given me an update set, to have a UI action link "Add to update set".
After I imported that update set to my PDI, the link is showing up under the related links, Add to Update set.
So, today I created an update set and once I capture few records, and mark the update set completed, and when I open any of the customer updates, then in the related links, I see only 'compare to current' is there, but there should be "Show Related Record" also right? I am saying that is missing.
If you still need screenshot, I will send you.
Regards,
Lucky

I think it is checking the file type or record type and action taken on the respective customer updates based on which it shows the "Show Related Record" related link. I am not spending time on what is causing that. If you wish to find out, please feel free to do so.
If I need to find the respective customer update record I can copy the sys_id from the XML payload.
Not spending too much time there.
But if you think uploading that "Add to update" is causing it, feel free to back out or try similar customer update capture in another instance to see if that could be the real cause.
