Earlier this year, ServiceNow became a Premier member of the FinOps Foundation, which is an organization dedicated to advancing the discipline of cloud financial management – also known as FinOps. Financial Operations (FinOps) is a practice that optimizes cloud spending, and it aligns very well with our Cloud Cost Management (CCM) solution.
Last week ServiceNow sponsored the FinOps Foundation’s major annual conference in San Diego, FinOps X. This is the first year sponsoring the event. We spoke to almost 200 people at our booth, and the speaking session led by our product team was also well-attended.

A major focus of the keynote (free to watch) was the convergence of FinOps, IT Asset Management, and AI - what the FinOps Org refers to as Cloud+. With everything on one platform, we believe ServiceNow has the best option to bring all this together! This is why Software Asset Management Enterprise includes the Cloud Cost Management solution - but you can also license CCM separately.
Another announcement at the event was a partnership between the FinOps Organization and ITAM Forum. We already partner with the ITAM Forum and will be working closely with both organizations in future activities - so watch this space!
