I am seeking clarification on the underlying logic and design of the Cloud Cost Management (CCM) integrations in ServiceNow.
I understand that CCM relies on API-based integrations with public cloud providers and ingests billing and usage data files. However, I would like to better understand how this ingestion is managed in practiceâparticularly given that cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure frequently change the structure and format of their billing/export files.
How does ServiceNow handle these ongoing changes to billing file schemas to ensure continuity and accuracy of cost data ingestion? Is this abstracted through standardized APIs, transformation layers, or provider-specific adapters?
